We hope you have had a great start to your Fall quarter for the 2021-2022 academic year!
Financial aid disbursements will be issued Friday, October 8th, 2021. In order to receive a disbursement, you must:
- Have a Fall award (check your Financial Aid Awards here on JICS)
- Attended all of your classes
- Meet satisfactory academic progress requirements.
- Completed all of your Financial Aid Documents (check your Financial Aid Documents here on JICS)
If you are receiving an outside scholarship such as Tribal Higher Ed, Cobell, AIS, etc., NWIC must have received the check in order to include it in your disbursement. You can check your Course and Fee Statement here on JICS (under Finances) to see which outside scholarships have been received.
If your disbursement(s) results in a credit on your account, the credit will be sent to you in the form of a mailed check. You will see it as "PAID CHECK TO STUDENT" on your Course and Fee Statement. Although our campus is open to those in compliance with the vaccination policy, all checks will still be mailed.
Please note that any late enrollment changes, grade reviews, or attendance entries can delay your check.
If you need to update your mailing address, please go to the Academics tab here on JICS and scroll down to the Contact Information Update Request form. Please allow time for the Admissions or Enrollment Services offices to process your request.
